GPT’s flange isolation training is now available through our dedicated online training platform. Now users can learn and develop their isolation training skills from anywhere at any time, at their own pace.
The GPT flange isolation training (GFIT) offers participants an in-depth training on proper installation techniques for flange isolation kits (FIK’s), for field installers and engineers. The online setting enables your installers/engineers to correctly install an isolating gasket and explain the critical role of each component required to successfully isolate the flanges for proper corrosion prevention of the system. In addition, participants will receive guidance and techniques for using the correct test meters to accurately check for isolation of the gasket and flanges post installation.
Whether you are field or office based, the training program is designed to maximize your knowledge and understanding of proper installation methods and flange isolation techniques. This can provide an effective means of bridging the gap between onsite field technicians and engineering groups.
The modular approach of the GFIT virtual training allows users to learn at their own pace and is broken down into 6 individual training topics. In addition, the platform provides users with a multitude of resources and insight to further support their knowledge and understanding of isolation.
On successful completion of the training, users will receive a qualified GPT installer certificate that is valid for a one-year period. Renewals of the certificate will be available on-line.
